Yes, you'll find traditional burritos, tamales and tacos here, but you'll also find more creative fare, not to mention a more healthful approach to Mexican cuisine. The kitchen's lard-free cooking uses only pure vegetable oils, an artery-sparing alternative to the usual fat-laden fare. Be sure to try the Green Chile Tamales and the Chicken Posole Stew. Many vegetarian dishes are also offered. Sip an unusual tequila/wine margarita along with your lunch or dinner. This place feels a lot more like earthy Flagstaff than many of the pseudo South-of-the Border restaurants in town.
