This energetic Mexican restaurant is a Palm Springs institution. Sit by the fountain outside, grab a table inside or enjoy a drink in the palapas-pavilion bar. Do not miss the margaritas, and let your tongue visit the Tequila. The Lobster Fajitas are a terrific bet, served Puerto Nuevo style, spicy and tender. Or try the Yucatan Grilled Chicken and Vegetable Salad, a richly flavored, healthy mound of vegetables with a juicy char-grilled chicken breast. The Taqueria is vegetarian-friendly, with many meatless choices.
