“We made reservations for 6:00 p.m. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. We were told that it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. When I brought up our reservation, we were told, We don't take reservations. We waited the 1 1/2 hours and still were not seated. They then told us it would be another 45 minutes. We decided to get our food to go rather than wait for a seat. While waiting, I observed the following. Food workers were wearing plastic gloves, while preparing food, but were dripping sweat from their heads and arms, all over the pizza dough they were rolling out. I witnessed a worker drop pizza pans on the soiled floor behind the counter, only to pick them up from the floor, wipe them off with his apron, which he also used to wipe sweat from his forehead, and then used them to make pizzas. Then another employee who was preparing pizza dough, wearing gloves while handling the food, picked up a ringing phone with his gloved hands, took an order, then hung up the phone after taking the order. He then grabbed a napkin from the counter, wiped the sweat from his forehead with his still gloved hand, and proceeded to go back to rolling/tossing pizzas with the same gloved hands, without ever washing his hands. This is going to make someone sick and is unsanitary. The entire time, the manager was standing at the counter, and said nothing to the employees. I pointed out the unsanitary conditions that I observed to the manager, who then threatened me with assault. We walked out without ordering. I have warned all of my friends, Relatives and co-workers about these restaurants practices, and hopefully, now you have been warned, and we can keep someone from getting sick from this. I also notified the Riverside County Department of Health.” Popular Restraurants in Palm SpringsView all restaurants in Palm Springs
