This charming sidewalk cafe is located just a skip east of Highland Avenue. Late weekend hours make it a great place to start, or end, your evening of revelry in the surrounding nightclub district. Simple and sweet, the Pad puts more into its dishes than onto its walls. The light Oriental motif is surprising after viewing the enormous Thai-themed mural on the side of the building. The fully Thai menu puts a mastery of Asian cooking on display, complete with large portions, something of a rarity in this fancy neighborhood.
