Located on the Southside near the University of Alabama at Birmingham and its medical center, Anthony's offers fresh Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The dining room, though small, is tastefully decorated and very romantic. Anthony's began as a bakery and then blossomed into a restaurant, so the bread is particularly good. The cuisine is traditional Italian, with many excellent pasta dishes.
