Hankering for fresh baked goods? Big Sky's popular items include oversized chocolate chip cookies ($4.30 for four), crunchy granola ($3.95), cornbread with whole kernels for texture ($4.95), and remarkably satisfying honey whole wheat bread ($2.95). Breads vary daily according to a weekly baking schedule. As Birmingham's only kosher bakery, Big Sky also offers excellent plain or raisin challah ($4.75). Demand is so high for the traditional Jewish bread that only registered patrons receive Friday's supply. Remaining loaves are available on Saturday, however.
