Located in Palisades Shopping Center, Mi Casita is a typical and very authentic taqueria catering mainly to recent Mexican immigrants. Gringos are welcome, though. The dining area consists of very basic booths and tables, the signs and posters are mostly in Spanish. In fact, it is a good place to practice your Spanish, as many of the waitresses speak no English. The food is simple, fresh and inexpensive. The menu is surprisingly varied and the service is fast and Friendly, despite the occasional language barrier. No alcohol is served, and no credit cards or personal checks are accepted.
