Esparza's124 East Worth Street, Grapevine, TXIn the heart of historic downtown Grapevine, Esparza's has a steady stream of hungry patrons from open to close. Family owned and operated, the vast menu boasts handmade specialties. Esparza's is especially crowded between 5pm and 7pm, when the after-work crowd descends in search of Esparza's famous margaritas. Esparza's is charming because it was once a spacious neighborhood home and historic homes and buildings still surround it. After happy hour, there are plenty of families, friends and couples. The expansive menu has shrimp kabobs, tortilla soup and Chicken Tampiquena along with a well-rounded dessert selection. For a variety of tastes in one meal, try the appetizer platter loaded with Taquitos, Quesadillas, stuffed jalapenos and Flautas.

“Esparza's is very loud and if you are not in the no smoking area you won't be able to breathe! My date and I went there December. 6, 2007. We were in the bar area until we could get a table. Everyone was smoking. Horrible atmosphere for anyone who does not smoke. We ate in the non smoking area. It was so loud with people talking much louder than they had to we finally decide to just eat and get out. The food is no better than your average chain Mexican restaurant, maybe not as good as a Mi Cocina, etc. I won't go back. This was not my first time but it seems to get worse every time, so no more esparza's for me.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“We had read reviews and took a small group to eat here. Reviews said margaritas were supposed to be great as well as the hot sauce. Well, food was so-so, hot sauce was supposed to be served warm, and it was served cold. We asked the waiter twice to take our pitchers of margaritas back to the bar to put some tequila in them; we were answered with a shrug of the shoulders. Seemed he was more interested in moving us out as fast as possible. He was very short with taking our orders, not much personality. I was embarrassed that I had taken my group to this place. Guess we should have chosen better.” 2 of 4 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in GrapevineView all restaurants in Grapevine
