The dramatic view of the bay, North Island carriers and bright lights of downtown San Diego from this replica of an 1880s Mississippi paddle wheeler cannot be beat. The restaurant is a popular special-occasion spot and serves as a banquet venue, as well. Inside, the decor stays true to the Southern riverboat exterior, with extensive wood detailing and big windows for enjoying the views. Seafood is the way to go here. Try the grilled salmon, shark, sole or halibut. There is a full wine list and bar. The indecisive can try the all-you-can eat seafood buffet for USD21.95.
