• Fun place to eat, unlike anything in San Antonio
• Would like to see more traditional German fare

“Great old fashioned deli atmosphere. I've only tried the German dinner specials a few times; however, they were very good, but lacked a little TLC. Traditional Germans usually eat their heavy meal at lunch and since they serve a more traditional menu in the late afternoon and evening, I usually miss out. The lunch specials and sandwiches are outstanding. The pea soup is wonderful with a slice of German bread, add the brat... and you're in German heaven. The root beer could be a little colder and less frothy. I certainly would emphasize the German flavor of the restaurant and add more traditional German dishes to lunch menu.”
