Edward Doc Dammers was Coral Gables' first mayor and one of the city's favorite forefathers. In his namesake restaurant at the Omni Colonnade Hotel, lusty continental fare is served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dinner entrees include New York steak with grilled veggies and onion rings (USD19) and Grouper Riviera (USD19.50). Most dishes are named after celebrities of yore.
