“The best Thai food in the Northwest suburbs. Excellent Curry dishes. Finding properly prepared Green Curry is not easy to do, and Thai Garden has it down. Also, excellent use of spices to attune level of spiciness for every palate.”

“Absolutely some of the best Tom Yum soup I have had in a long time. Travel to Thailand quite a bit and must say the chow here is quite authentic. The prices are very reasonable for dinner and a business lunch outing is virtually a steal. ”

“This is the best Thai restaurant by far. The food is authentic, tastes great and is always delicious. I've come here for years and have met many travelers from around the world who seek out this restaurant on their stop over at O¿Hare - even midway!!! Even if you're game for a quick lunch, this is also your best bet - great food. My whole family outing to Thai garden has always been a wonderful experience. Plus lots of people I talk to know of Thai garden in Schaumburg, so you know it¿s a good place by mere reputation - it¿s a heck of an icebreaker when you've gone to the same restaurant that you know and love. If you have a large party (over 10 people) give me a call and reserve a table - they are very accommodating from my experience. And finally - but most important - the food is absolutely delicious - you can have it spicy or mild - but it¿s always tasty. Their tom yum seafood soup, garlic scallops and basil duck are to die for! Highly recommended, hope you see you there! ” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I've been here a few times with friends that won't try other Thai restaurants. Every time we've been here, the food we order specifically the rice dishes has been oily. Last time, maybe because they were a little busy, our food came out cold and had to be redone. Instead, the same food came out, recooked or warmed up (microwave) and didn't quite taste the same as the last time we had it here. The service was far from great. Our waitress was more concerned about getting our orders and getting us out that last times we've gone there. Too many disappointments so I'm going to try something new the next time.”

“The food was bad (to mediocre) when comparing to some of the better Thai foods (restaurants) in the area. I visit Thailand often and eat Thai food in the area often as well. The food does not give a true, authentic Thai taste you find in Thailand or at better restaurants. Don't get me wrong Thai Garden is not horrible or awful. The food here is actually better than some other restaurants masquerading as Thai. Thai Garden lacks the authenticity that you expect when going to a Thai restaurant, not an imitation. The foods at Thai Garden are more similar to Laos or Laos/Thai, which I was not impressed. The fried rice is a little greasy, the spring rolls were not the best (you can find better elsewhere), the sweet & sour sauce has a hint of spiciness (found that the kids did not like it), and the pad Thai was a little wet (sauce/oil that wasn't cooked thoroughly). If you are looking for real Thai, this is not the place for it. I would suggest exploring other Thai restaurants in the area (Schaumburg, Streamwood) and you can discover for yourself real authentic Thai.”

There is a kick to the sweet and sour sauce which I just love. I've been going here for many, many years and will continue going back for more!” 3 of 5 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in SchaumburgView all restaurants in Schaumburg
