• Country cooking.
• Lines.

“I've been going to Gerald's Steakhouse on Sundays Country Cooking Buffet since I was a young girl and every time I go it's just as great as the time before. But you have to get there early on Sunday to get the best service and also to beat the church crowd cause when they get there. They are hungry and you'll probably have to stand in a line out the door to get good food. I say around 10:30 is a good time to get there and have an empty stomach, cause the food is just as GREAT as grandma used to cook it.”

• Roast beef in gravy.
• Too much heavy country-style cooking.

“Went on a "buffet" day, got there late and there was no food left. We were the last people left eating in the restaurant, and they were literally sweeping up under our table while we were finishing our food. Not MY type of food, country style, heavy meals. Lots of choices, however. But found very little choice of food that I enjoyed. Roast beef in gravy was excellent over mashed potatoes. Good family style restaurant; large rooms, tables spaced well apart.”
