• Restaurant was clean.
• No service - rude wait staff.

“On 7/16/2008 I arrived with a group of developmentally disabled young adults at the Log Cabin restaurant at approximately 9:30 am. The restaurant was not overly busy and our group consisted of 10 young adults and 8 staff including 3 bus drivers. We seated ourselves at 6 booths and 1 small table. We were completely ignored for about 15 minutes before a waitress came and took our drink order, during this time other patrons came, were given menus, and served, while we sat and watched. The whole group was well behaved and courteous during our wait. After about another thirty minutes of being ignored by the wait staff we left. This is not a handicap friendly establishment.”

• Food is great!
• Wish they would serve any of their "beef" based soups daily!

“My co workers and I go to the log cabin at least 2-3 times each week. Wonderful food, great staff. Awesome beef soups. Never had a problem. Highly recommend for quick bite to eat with home-style taste and quality. Also great for lunch meetings or gatherings.”

• Short of real home cooking, the log cabin is the next best thing!
• You won't find anything really fancy on the menu but good basic food.

“My family and I have been going to the log cabin for years and have enjoyed the experience every time. When looking for a combination of value, service, and good food I don't think you'd find anyplace on the east side of Rochester that's any better...”

• This restaurant has great food and wonderfully warm atmosphere.
• It's a little out of the way, but worth it!

• Service was good.
• Food poisoning alert.

“Food poisoning alert!! It is strongly suggested that you do not eat at the log cabin family restaurant. There has been at least one case of food poisoning where the customer had to be sent to the emergency room and then hospitalized for a period of time. severe vomiting, severe pain, etc.”
