“Awesome food, the best I've had in Orange County, I've been going here since I was a baby. At this place the only thing that has to matter to you is top-quality food and a fun atmosphere. Don't expect to find traditional restaurant amenities like private tables since this is not a traditional restaurant. I absolutely love this place. The family that owns this restaurant also owns a sushi place in the same shopping center which by far has the freshest and best-prepared sushi I've ever had.”

“I have been eating at Anaheim hills hibachi for 25 years! It used to be half the size it is now, I would even get the food "to go" on many occasions (when I lived in Anaheim hills). Unfortunately I am not that close anymore, but I get cravings all the time! Same owner (hi hank!) And a chef that's been there since day one also (hi Toro!). I only wish this secret hadn't gotten out! :).”

“The food here is delicious; we always order the filet mignon and have found it hard to beat even at a fancy place like Ruth Chris. I know others mentioned it being like a chuck e cheese/Dennys atmosphere but I have been eating there for years and do not agree. Yes it is kid friendly but I have never seen kids running around. Also while you may end up eating with other people, that is the fun of eating at a restaurant like this. If you do not want to dine with others than any other restaurant would be a better pick. We always have fun chatting with other diners and even almost named our daughter due to a conversation with other diners there.”

“Very good food, however none of the chef's seems to interact with the customers. I have been to similar style restaurants (Kobe Steak House, Bennihanas) where the chefs put on a show for the customers in the true Japanese tradition. These guys said nothing throughout the whole dinner. I did however enjoy every aspect of the food. It was great!”

“Food is great. We've eaten here for the past ten years. Host/hostess not overly friendly. We once made a reservation for a party of 12 at 5:00. 11 of us were there 10 minutes early, the twelfth person was running late. They gave our table away and made us wait an hour for our friend who was caught in traffic. We even told the host we would order for him! Apparently they enjoy watching their guests squirm. Like I said, food great! Service certainly doesn't leave you feeling warm and fuzzy! Oh, one more thing, good luck calling in ahead for a reservation! They never answer their phones.”

“Great restaurant for people enjoying screaming kids running around. Food is average and the service ok. Go there for a Denny¿s atmosphere at twice the price with less privacy (you have to eat at the same table with 7-8 other people).” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“When you start off dinner with a soup as good and flavorful as their onion then you know right off the back that it's going to be an excellent dinner (or at least you know for every time you come back after your first time there)! Their fried rice and shrimp is absolutely unbelievable. I could eat it every day of the week and still want some more. The vegetables, as well as everything else there, are cooked perfect. Their service is unbeatable. The people are very nice. It's a great place to eat!”

“This was quite possibly the best food I've had out anywhere. If you've been to Benihana's and loved it, you will absolutely love this restaurant. Even though it is a bit hidden, it is worth searching for. When you walk in, you smell the sweet aroma of teriyaki and grilled food. Then, you are seated at a long table with the grill in the center where you are greeted with kind servers who are there and seem to know what you need before you ask! The chef at our table was so much fun to watch and so quick in preparation. Three of us ate for 55 dollars and it included shrimp appetizers for each of us, a salad, soup, a drink, rice, grilled squash with onions (the chef makes a fun onion volcano--great to watch) and your choice of steak, chicken, lobster, salmon, swordfish and the list goes on (prices do vary). You leave so satisfied and not overstuffed as with many restaurants! It is well worth the experience and the food! Enjoy!” 14 of 15 people found this review helpful.Popular Attractions in AnaheimView all attractions in Anaheim
