• Location.
• Food, manager/owner did not care.

“The food was definitely sub-par. Appetizers were overcooked actually charred) and the entrees were cold. We tried a variety of menu items and there wasn't one that was satisfactory. The atmosphere and location have potential, but I think with the new management, this restaurant is on a downward spiral.”

• Waitress was really nice-needs to find a better place to work.
• Wait, food, dishes, attitude of workers.

“Our family has been patrons of this restaurant for many years. We booked reservations for all holidays. This mother's day we took our family -reservations at 10:30 for 16-20 people. After many trips to the podium we were finally seated at 12:00 noon. They have done a brunch buffet for many years and this has always worked for us, however this year was the absolute worst. After we had waited for 1 1/2 hours to be seated there was a bus load of senior citizens arrived and were seated before us and their reservations were not until 12:30. When we asked about this a "contract labor" person told the mother, grandmother and great grandmother that if she didn't like it she could take her business else where. We were finally seated and the waitress assigned to us was most apologetic for the fact there was no food on the buffet, no plates and for our wait. People were literally standing by the tables waiting for food. Many people in our party didn't ever get anything to eat. We had senior citizens all the way down to babies and no one was happy. When family members spoke to the manager, excuses were all that were offered. The son's of the mother/grandmother/great grandmother were so enraged by the way their mother was treated on mother's day they found the "contract worker" and insisted he apologize to her for his tone of voice and attitude in the way he spoke with her earlier, which he did. When plates were put out for the people to utilize on the buffet they were dirty and I mean food still on them and sticky, food was brought out one item at a time and in small amounts. The carver at one point even left his carving station and went to get bread for the people waiting. I understand trying to make the most of this high volume day but you don't ditch your reservations and long standing customers for walk in's especially on a big event day like Mother's day. Needless to say none of the party of 20 will ever return to Gleasons Grille for anything. Apparently they are no longer a corporation as the state website indicates administrative dissolution of their corporation. Wonder how long the doors will or should stay open.”
