“We were treated very rudely when the manager made an admitted mistake with our order. She didn't care if never came back as long as we paid the bill. She was sarcastic and unprofessional.”

“I went to Maxs Pizza with a group of 9 while on vacation. Ive never experienced such unprofessional and rude behavior from a Manager. The waitress took our orders and returned about 30 minutes later to bring everyones dinner except for one person. She said they had made a mistake and failed to enter the order, but the cook was preparing it right away. After 10 minutes and no meal I asked the waitress to at least bring a salad. Another 20 minutes went by before the meal came. When the manager came over, we complained about the mistake and asked that we not to be charged. She became defensive and said that the restaurants policy was, You eat it you buy it. She then went on to say that she would be glad to take the food back and not charge us. At this time she reached in to take the plate. I told her it was fine I would pay, but I wouldnt be back. She said that was fine with her, smirked and walked away. I definitely wouldnt recommend this restaurant.”

“Max's pizza is a great place for anyone who has kids and enjoys good pizza. Their pizza is thick and packed with cheese and meat. The sauce is very mild, but tasty. It has become a fun tradition for our family each summer. The service is extremely friendly. Of course, it doesn't hurt that it sits inside surf city, one of the best kept secrets for those who love to vacation on the beach without the hassle of fighting large crowds on the beach.”
