“My husband and I went to 220 for the very first time yesterday and the food was fantastic all u can eat crab legs just delicious, fish, everything u name it. The atmosphere wonderful and the serving staff very professional and kind. I was so excited being there. There are so many people moving out here and they don't know but I already have a few people coming to check out this place love the food I just can't stop saying this, the only hurtful thing is they are closing 1/31/08 and I feel anyone who love good seafood need to go before this wonderful establishment before it is only a memory in history.”

“Pleasantly surprised by the friendly wait staff. Very attentive from the time we arrived to the time we left. My date and I ordered swordfish and requested it be blackened. I/we were blown away by the freshness of the fish and the perfect job at the seasoning and searing of the fish. We also had a baked potatoes and string beans. Potato was served with our choice of condiments. Beans were lame and served in a Styrofoam bowl. No big deal unless your on a first date. Coffee and desert followed. Coffee deserves mention because it simply tasted great. Not at all what we expected. The final event that took place and put a smile on my face was the reasonable price. 220 Seafood restaurants get two thumbs up from us. That's impressive considering we are seasoned travelers and have a demanding taste. Other point that I feel deserves a mention is the silverware was spotless. Most American restaurants fail miserably in this area. Not 220.”

“We have only had one bad experience at this restaurant and we go quite often but this time we did not get all we could eat and the waitress never came back even to ask for drink refills. I understand that the waitress is no longer there. We knew that something was wrong because we never had to ever wait for anything because they were always right there to get something for us. The food has always been good.”

“The service was prompt, we had no waiting time. Also the waitress came to our table to ask if we needed refills on our drinks as well as asking if we would like more seafood since we all had the all you can eat. We have all planned on going again. It was a really good time for everybody. There were no complaints from any of us on the food. The only food served to us on paper plates were the extra seafood we ordered and everything was served hot.”

“We usually try to visit this restaurant at least once every six months to have "all you can eat crab legs" and to be quite honest, we have all you can eat at the beach and I think 2/20 is better. The service is great, wait staff very friendly and food comes out quite quick. Usually no waiting. The paper plate issue, well, I never really noticed the paper plate thing? Suppose I was more aware of the food. As thats what I was there for. You know, with the picnic type atmosphere, and the all you can eat environment and amount of people this restaurant serves. I think its very smart. This keeps prices down. Who can eat so much food for $20.00.your great, continue the great job!”

“This was a reportedly good choice by the hotel staff when queried. The crab was lacking in the savory sweetness of good crab. The serving staff was excellent, yet good service could not overcome the crab. Compounding the lack of taste in the crab, the establishment does not accept amex.”

“We have eaten at 220 many times and have always had great service and was not served on paper plates like was mentioned in another review. We have never had anything but good things to say about it, except that they will not take reservations.”

“We went to 220 for the first time due to the fact I searched the internet for a good seafood restaurant and this is what came up!220 advertises steak and seafood. They fail to mention the only steak they have is new York strip and sirloin! Yuk! I ordered the fried shrimp and crab legs. It was not fresh shrimp it is the kind you can buy from the frozen section of your local grocery store. They taste like that too! The crab legs were cold. We heard they had all you can eat crab legs that is another reason we went there. Well, that does not have that anymore. That stopped that in January! They fail to advertise that also. Needless to say we will not be going back to this crusty place!” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

“My husband and I ate there because we love sea food. The restaurant is like a great big house redesigned to be a restaurant. We were in a little room that was probably a bedroom a long time ago. The food was brought out on paper plates, it took 20 minutes to get a soda refill because being in a closed off room like that the wait staff can not see you to tell if you need another. Also the food was not that good. It was something I would have expected from a golden coral or a long john silvers. Not impressed and have not gone back since.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in WinchesterView all restaurants in Winchester
