“Fantastic food, great value. Like many supper clubs there is a required wait before dinner (where they make money on drinks) and the bar does not serve food but I start every Northwoods trip at Bootlegger's and have never had a bad meal. Not the most cutting edge cuisine but executed perfectly every time - the fried cheese curds are hands-down the best in the state. Also try the soup which is homemade and great - as far as I am concerned bread tells you how much a restaurant cares (the rolls at Bootlegger's are very good) and the soup tells you how talented the chef is. No loss on either point here.”

“I ate here with a friend during the 4th of July weekend and I disagree that the people there treat you with respect. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait even though there were open tables in the dinning room and bar. We asked if we could eat at the bar and were told no. So, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip to hold us over. It was $6.99 and not worth it at all! We waited about 20 minutes for it even though we were the only bar patrons. When it came out it was in a small little pot and only about 1/3 filled. (Only about 3 heaping Tablespoons!) It actually looked like they ran out or the boxes of frozen dip they bought were very small. Of course they gave a large plate of chips. When we complained to one of the bartenders she said she would go back and talk to the chef. This took another 15 minutes before she came back to us. During this time, the other bartender said if the other girl didn't help us, she would personally go back and get us more. When the first one came back, she said that was all we get. We told the other bartender this as she said she would get us more and she snottily replied. "I'm not the chef." and walked away. When we they finally were ready to seat us, the host was snotty to us and once again service was slow. My friend ordered a "Magnum Steak" and it looked more like a petite one. It certainly was not worth the money she paid for it. It took forever to get our check and we paid for it with a credit card which once again the waitress went missing for another 10-15 minutes. When we asked another waitress where ours went, she snottily replied "She's in the kitchen." This dining experience was one of the worse we ever had in Tomahawk. It doesn't matter that it's decorated very nice inside if you're not treated well and the food is horribly overpriced! My family and friends will never dine there again.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I cannot tell you how great Bootleggers Supper Club is! The building is absolutely beautiful and the food is scrumptious. I dine here all the time, and not matter how large or small my group is I am always treated with respect. The service is simply unbeatable. I have never had a waitress that is rude or doesn't care about her customers. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The bar is huge, yet cozy, with plenty of room for socializing and dancing. There is A LOT for the youngness to do as well. The view over Lake Nokomis is unmatched. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST dining here.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in TomahawkView all restaurants in Tomahawk
