• Best Japanese restaurant ever - and we travel a lot.
• Being seated at the table with people you don't know - but all Japanese restaurants to this.

“Speaking as a Lynchburg native, Kyoto is definitely our very favorite place to eat. They cater to everyone from the business traveler to the family with multiple kids. A quick note - they have a great lunch menu that is much better than most of the fast food Japanese take outs but the pricing is right there with everyone else. Dinner is a good value, but lunch is an even more amazing value. (Hit lunch on the early side - they open at 11:30, but don't start getting busy till 12:15 or so).”

• The food is great, especially with yum-yum sauce and the drinks are good too.
• The food is kind of salty because of terriyaki.

“I love to eat there. They have great shrimp and lobster. The chefs put on a great and entertaining show of food and flames. I would recommmend to anyone who loves to get together with a group of friends and have fun.”
