• Love the Soul food and Southern down home cooking.
• Need to remember to bring your Tums. You will overeat.

“It's a short drive down highway 521 from Charlotte, NC to Lancaster, SC. But, if you want down home country cooking, and you are very hungry, you can't go wrong at JoMars. You pay one price and get all you can eat and they have a lot of food that other restaurants don't have. And, it's fresh, not frozen. Great collard greens, butter beans, fried okra, and even fried catfish. The staff and waitresses are friendly and I guarantee you that you will find something you will like. You can order off the menu if you're not that hungry. We love this place and hope it never changes.”

• Food tasted okay.
• Lettuce on salad bar hardly green at all, poor customer service by wait staff.

“My daughter and I went to Jomar's a few nights ago. She ordered the salmon, I ordered a rib-eye steak. Everything was good, nothing fantastic. Service was ok, but not outstanding. As we were leaving, the waitress asked if I wanted my Diet Coke poured into a to-go cup. I said I thought that would be great. Then she proceeds to refill my half-empty cup with more Diet Coke, rather than pouring it into a Styrofoam cup. As she was doing so, she lost her grip on my cup and poured Diet Coke all over the table and all over me. My clothes were soaked. She said she was sorry. Another person came over with a towel to help wipe up the disaster and the waitress told her the cups were slick and the dishwasher should be notified. I was and still am appalled that nobody from management came over to apologize and offer to either comp my meal or offer a coupon for a free meal in the future. I won't be going back.”
