• Excellent catfish, serving size and friendly staff.
• Building is original and a little old. Hasn't changed in years.

• It is hard to find. it's out in the middle of nowhere.
• The building is falling apart. It could use a face-lift.

• Friendly, down home atmosphere, local hangout.
• Smoking is allowed in the restaurant.

“Harpers is a best kept secret for catfish this side of the Mississippi. Clean and freshly prepared catfish nuggets and lots of em' with a perfect baked potato every time, fresh iced tea and make your own salad with coleslaw on the bar. Finish with a homemade dessert. View the pay lake in a rural out of the way location. I went to Harpers for the first time in 1991 and have been going back ever since. It's worth the one hour drive from Nashville.”
