“My family and I make it a habit to eat at the Yangtze at least twice a week. I have eaten at almost all the Chinese restaurants in the area and hands down, the Yangtze is the BEST. The food is ALWAYS fresh and not too greasy. The restaurant is clean and the service is professional and quick. If you're looking for the best Chinese food, you can't miss out on the Yangtze!”

  • Great hot food.
  • Slow staff and slow food coming out.

“Once a month my sister and I have dinner at Yangtze. I have to say for me they have the best food and I have ate at a lot of Chinese/Asian restaurants. You have to try it at least once. The only thing is I think the wait staff is very slow. Overall, a 10.”

“I love eating at the Yangtze, the food is great (and affordable), the menu has a wide variety, and the atmosphere is pleasant. On the weekend they have a very affordable buffet with a big selection of items to choose from. I've eaten at many oriental restaurants, and the Yangtze has the best boneless spareribs by far. The service is generally very good, only once was I served by someone who was clearly new, and they had a mentor watching and insuring things went well. There is also a full bar.”

  • Good food.
  • Some servers are very inefficient and needs to be trained or educated.

“I've been to Yangtze twice. The 1st time was a great experience for me. They have a wide variety of Oriental Cuisine (mixed menu Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese), plus sushi bar. The server provided great customer service. The ambiance was reasonable. You have an option of sitting inside or outside. Price is reasonable. Overall 1st time was excellent Now the second time is a different story. It was a very UNPLEASANT experience. We had guests from NY and thought it would be nice to take them to Yangtze since our first time there was wonderful. We ordered shiumai, 4 plates of pork bbq, 4 cups of steam rice. The server, "CHAM" never repeated back the order. Naturally I assumed that she got everything down. She comes 10 minutes later to inform us that they're out of shiumai. 25 minutes after she brought us 4 cups of steam rice and a plate of pork bbq. We gave it to one of our guests and waited another 10 minutes. Finally I decided to ask the server about the other 3 plates and she gave me a surprised look as if she didn't understand me. Well to make a long story short CHAM thought I said: 1 order of pork bbq and 4 cups of rice. I patiently asked her to put in an order for 3 more plates. At this time we were starving it was about 11:00pm all she kept on saying was: "SORRY, BUT THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED." I requested to speak to the manager, instead of taking me to see the manager she disregarded my request and simply said: "SORRY, KITCHEN IS CLOSED." I was very upset, disappointed and very embarrassed. CHAM didn't even offer another option, solution or offered for me to see the manager. Finally my guest had to get up from the table, walk all the way to the kitchen to find the manager himself. The manager was very professional and very helpful indeed. He apologized for the inconvenience and right away set the kitchen staff to prepare our dishes. Kudos to the manager. The server though needs to be educated. Servers like CHAM can spoil the reputation of the restaurant. ”
