• The dressing on the Greek salad.
• Sometimes the fries are dry and taste reheated.

“Our family has been eating at the terrace diner for many years. The food is very good and the portions are generous. A great place to dine with children, or just a quiet meal. The chicken meals are very good. The Greek meals are tasty, and they make a great burger! My grandson feels it is the best diner he has ever eaten in, and would like to eat there every chance he gets. Try it, you won't be sorry!”

“I've been frequenting this diner for almost 19 years now. I've been to plenty of other diners on Long Island, but none of them can compare. Be sure to try their French Dip (add mozzarella and gravy to the fries!).”

“I have been to many diners on long island, but I find terrace diner to be #1! I love the Greek salad, and would go there just for that. Of all the meals I have tried at terrace, there hasn't been one that I didn't like. I would highly recommend eating there. Also the waiters/waitresses are friendly, which is important, when eating out.”

• Greek Salad!
• Fries.

“The Greek Salad is Great! Well worth a visit. The dressing is very unusual and wonderful. The only food complaint my family ever has is about the fries, which are sparse and sometimes cold when picked up. The staff is friendly and the dinner specials are good. It is almost as good as Peter Pan diner, but the service is better. The diner itself s a little too crowded and cozy for me.”

• Everything is positive about this diner.
• Nothing negative.

“I've been frequenting the Terrace Diner for quite awhile. The owners Achilles, Teddy and Gus (the father) have got to be the nicest people in any restaurant establishment I and my family have ever gone to. We're all on a first name basis. They love my 12 year old daughter. She is treated like gole each and every time she is there. The waiters and the waitresses are on a first name basis also. There have been times when my mother was very sick or even when she passed away or when my daughter was in the hospital that I went to pickup food and they told me don't worry about the bill. I suggest this diner to anyone who wants excellent food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, even just a snack to visit them. You will be hooked just like I am.”
