“After a hectic drive up from la our host chose this for our evening meal. We noshed on the appetizer menu, which is wide ranging and quite enough for three people. Everything was wonderful- perfectly seasoned, interesting ingredients and reasonably priced. If the caramel balsamic gelato is not a constant on the menu, it should be. It's a triumph- they should sell pints. The next time I am in the bay area, I would go out of my way to revisit.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I was introduced to this place by a girl friend, and we always get the udon or soba noodle soups. The clear broth is tasty, and the ingredients, from pork to oysters, are always fresh. I've never had the bigger entrees, but they might be more filling. I enjoy the soup, but when I took my boyfriend there, he found it to be too light (guys, I recommend the steak or something). Service is excellent. Quiet enough for nice conversation... and people bring kids, go alone, or bring a date.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in BerkeleyView all restaurants in Berkeley
