• The food was good.
• The service was terrible and insulting. Not kid friendly.

“This establishment is not kid friendly. The chef made rude comments to my three year old throughout the meal. When we confronted the people up front they said they would speak to him, but it was just his personality to be sarcastic. Even my son said he was not nice to him which broke our hearts. If you want the same experience with friendly staff try the Ichiban in Biltmore. The chef there was fabulous and even taught our son some of the language. Don't pay these people to be insulted.”

• Seating arrangements and restaurant atmosphere.

“Excellent food! I love the sumo dinner and so does my husband. The service is also great especially when your chef does neat tricks. The last chef we had didn't really do a lot of that but the Asian ones usually do. My only complaint is the atmosphere. For being a more expensive restaurant, the place really isn't nice at all. The decor and restaurant itself is run down to the point of making me wary the first time I ate there. I just expected it to be a much nicer place. The food and the services are fantastic. Sometimes it is a bit strange sitting with strangers at the same table. Last night we had to sit next to an arguing couple and I couldn't wait for them to leave.”
