“I've been coming to this restaurant for lunch and dinner since the early 1990s. In fact, there was a time I ate there at least twice a week. It is casual and family-run. You will see a lot of Japanese people eating there. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. They also offer sushi, saki and beer. You can have a bento box meal (a bunch of little things), combo meals, noodles, sashimi, etc. You can request to sit on the floor to eat in one of the rooms in back. It is not fancy. We drive all the way from Pasadena to eat here now. It is super affordable and you get a lot of food. Recently, I had the sashimi bento box. My standards are terriyaki salmon, ton katsu (breaded pork cutlet), tempura and I've already gone back just for sashimi. Service is quick. May be a bit crowded during the lunch hour.” 3 of 4 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in Los AngelesView all restaurants in Los Angeles
