• Unique flavors on traditional dishes.
• No credit cards or checks hit the ATM before going.

“I had preconceived notions that we would be getting a big bowl of spaghetti and sauce. I was wrong. The toasted ravioli is the best I have ever had. The pork chops were seasoned and moist. The antipasto and bread were wonderful. The sauce on the ravioli had a slight sweet taste, while Josie Sauce was a garlic lovers delight. I am considering making the 2.5 hour drive from KC just to let the rest of my family experience it. Hit the ATM before going. No cards or checks accepted and no bank in Scammon.”

• There's not one in Springfield.

“It's been a while since my last trip to Josies. However, the last trip (every trip) was/has been a culinary treat. From the anti-pasta to the best meatballs I've ever had. Josies is an out of the way gem. I have eaten at countless Italian restaurants and nothing compares to this place. The sauces are the best I've ever encountered! Seriously, the sauces are amazing! If you're ever in the area of the tiny mining town of Scammon, KS you have to check this place out. ”

• Unique flavor. Never have found anything like it, and I try every Italian restaurant I find.
• Cash or check only, no credit cards.

“Best pasta sauce I have ever tasted. I eat there almost every time I am in the area. Also, will buy a quart or two of the red sauce for home. Prefer the cream sauce but they do not sell that to go. I always get the combo Fettuccine and Lasagna. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. If your ever in the area, you must try. ”
