“A small family owned and operated restaurant. I was with a party of six. The gumbo was delicious, as was the crab/corn soup. Soft shelled craps were also wonderful. The grouper special was incredible, easily the best I have ever had. The pasta with crab, shrimp and crawfish was also excellent. The other entree at our table was the mushrooms stuffed with lump crabmeat. I did not try this but those that did were raving. Bread pudding for dessert. The service was excellent. Overall it was one of the best meals out I have ever had.”

• Family owned, quaint, homemade food.
• The salads are a little generic.

“Fresh, southern traditional fare. Family owned and operated, Jocelyn's is one of the hidden gems of Ocean Springs. The eggplant a little spicy and is especially good.”
