“What a disappointment! Although the view is spectacular, the service and food were horrible! Do not waste your time or $. We waited at the bar for our table which was fine, but we also got a view of the goings on in the kitchen. We watched as someone who might have worked there or maybe was just the local drunk, would visit the kitchen to pick food off customers plates and eat it! The staff was so overworked and stressed. We finally got a table and waited an hour just for our appetizers. Steamers, which were so dried out they were cracked! but, being diligent and hoping for the best we proceeded to wait another 45 minutes for our entrees! We finally had enough, and paid for our appetizers and got out of there! Tables all around us were complaining as well. And, the local drunk/employee was meandering thru and making a nuisance of himself. Too bad, this was the perfect setting for a great restaurant with much better management.”

“I couldn't wait to show my son and his family this beautiful lake when we arrived (7 of us). We were seated but the BEES were so bad! It took about one hour to get the terrible food. I was so disappointed. I probably will never go back!”

“I brought some friends there who were visiting me in Lake George. I was embarrassed by the end of the evening. First was the wait for the food. That took almost an hour. Then the quality. While my meal was good my friends decided to get the 'special' which was a bacon hamburger hoagie. The hamburger was not just cold but like it just came out of the refrigerator and finally, the bacon was a half a strip of bacon. I think my days going to the Dockside are finished as they clearly have a problem with service and food quality and value. Too bad because the setting is a winner for the right restaurateur.”

“While it's located directly on Glen Lake and the lake can be seen from almost every table, be prepared to wait. The kitchen is way to small for the number of tables. There are specials, but they seem to be the same every week (every Tuesday, the same special; every Wednesday, the same special). It is a good place to bring people from out of the area as it's not at crowded as Lake George.” 4 of 7 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in Lake GeorgeView all restaurants in Lake George
