• Great atmosphere.
• Sounds crazy, but mosquitoes were biting us the whole time, and the sushi was terrible.

“First impression was great with nice decor and a chic interior, so naturally the expectations were high. Had three types of sushi rolls and was disappointed in all three: tuna avocado (made it spicy), yellowtail, and crunchy tuna roll. We were more than disappointed in the make rolls. The first two which came out (tunas) were overwhelmed with straight "heat" for spice instead of a subtle and complex spice you would expect mixed into the actual inside of the roll.”

“Food ~ Amazing; Service ~ Amazing; ~ Decor ~ Unbelievable in DC, and I've been dining here for years as a lobbyist. The staff is so attentive, I almost forgot I was at a restaurant. The desserts are to die for....Baked Alaska!!”

• The seafood is exceptional, rare spices accent great quality food.
• Reservations required

“Oya is the most sophisticated contemporary restaurant in the DC area. The chef prepared menu surpasses anything the cooks from chain steakhouses can prepare. From waterfalls to fireplaces to great drinks, food and service, Oya is another must see for any DC visitor seeking a high quality dining experience.”

• Very stylish decor
• Rude and indifferent service and management

“Initial recation was positive. Interior is stunning, very chic. Service however went from absent-minded to rude very quickly. Attempts to communicate difficulties with managment were met with complete indifference. Will not return.”
