• Service fast and friendly.
• Expensive, small portions and everything is swimming in grease!

“I had read about this restaurant in the Lexington Herald Leader. I was very disappointed with the food. Prices are high for this type of restaurant. The fried foods are swimming in grease and the salad and fried corn bread were also disappointing. Portions are also very small for the prices. Service was fast and friendly. I don't plan on returning.”

• Mediocre food and small servings.

“I was really surprise to find that after all I have heard that this place wasn't everything I was told. The special lunch costs very high for a special. The food is typical of a cafeteria in taste and the portions are small. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends.”

• Nothing that really outstanding, except the overly priced lunch special.
• Too small of portions, too high a price!

“I was not impressed. The portions were extremely small and the price was over the top for a lunch special. A small bowl of Chicken & dumplings, A small bowl of greens, mac & cheese and potato salad, 1 biscuit and an Ice Tea for $11.00. The food was so, so. The service was friendly. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 and I won't go back. I can eat at KFC, the food is as good and the buffet.”

• Fine country food, friendly service and reasonable prices.
• They sometimes run out of featured entrees on crowded days.

“If you like country cooking', you will love Kathy's! The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The wait staff is very friendly and wait time between order & serving is not long. This place has the best catfish anywhere! I have eaten here many times. You will find the staff, friendly and attentive to their patrons as well. Restaurant is listed in a book entitled "101 Best Places To Eat In Kentucky".”

• Great food with a family, everybody knows everybody, atmosphere.
• Needs some deco updating.
