“Originally from Roselle NJ, and then Newark, we used to go here as a family often. I miss it and the GREAT PIZZA. People here in PA do not know good pizza. I think it's the water here, but the crust often misses the spot. As I have not eaten there in years, I do not know what they are like now, but when we used to go it was great. Next time I am in Jersey, I will bring my PA husband there. He raves about Philly pizza and I tell him he does not know what good pizza is. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps anyone contemplating eating here.”

“The pizza is incredible. It's delicious and has a very original flavor and style. I'd go to the Reservoir for pizza over any other place. Their regular entrees, on the other hand, are so bland, boring and a waste of money. Their linguine and clams is tasteless and they clearly use canned clams. Every other entree has been tasteless as well. There's nothing special about their take on Italian cuisine. It is what it is. If it's Cavatelli and broccoli, don't expect there to be a hint of garlic or oregano, or anything special in it: all that will be there is the broccoli and the Cavatelli. I don't even think they use salt and pepper. Very over-priced. So I only highly recommend their pizza, as it is unbeatable. They fall very short with their other cuisine and I'd steer clear.”

“This is the best pizza for miles. In a day when pizza places are every few hundred feet hardly anyone even competes with this place. Loud and friendly, small and almost claustrophobic creates the feeling that you¿re in your family¿s kitchen with a whole mess of friends. The food is all top quality. I live seventy miles away now and we still manage to get our fix. I have turned people on to reservoir for years. They come from as far as short hills and even further for a pie. It's a traditional pie a little small but the flavor, wow. Try it you will not be disappointed. Don't forget cash they don't take credit cards. My family has eaten their food for over forty years. They were originally in Newark. Enjoy.”

“Perfect for a night out with the family if you don't mind it being crowded. You can bring your own booze which saves on the expense. We always get the fried calamari appetizer for about $10 which is huge and our kids love. The kids eat the pizza which is very good and also about $10. Penne vodka is one of our favorites and a nice price at $11, the chicken Murphy is the best I¿ve had and is around $16. The entrees are also huge; we wind up getting another whole meal out of the leftovers. ”
