“I took my parents to Morimoto for their 20th wedding anniversary. We chose the Omakase nine courses dinner. Each course was better than the last. We enjoyed everything! Chef Morimoto even came out and autographed a menu for my mother (huge Iron Chef fan). There were only two downsides. One, the restaurant is extremely loud and you have to shout across the tables. Two, the food is very expensive, but worth every penny. ”

“Big on flash and hype, falls on its face with the delivery. The waiters were either inexperienced or worse, just did not care. What promised to be a great evening was abruptly terminated with the quality of service and the exceptionally bland food. Yes, the room is beautiful and the plating of the food exquisite however the fore grass, lobster and the omakase dinners were not exciting. With dishes such as these, it was no wonder that Vancouver's Rob Feenie beat Morimoto on Iron Chef America.” 0 of 3 people found this review helpful.

“Last year, because we are such big Iron Chief fans, I took my husband to Motorist's for his birthday. We were both extremely impressed with the atmosphere, the menu the whole restaurant. The design of the restaurant and all of the dishes were exquisite. You know as soon as you walk in that this is a dining experience that you will not soon or ever forget.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“I was at awe, the food was the best. I went to many japanese restaurant but Morimoto tops the bar. I had the 6 course meal and the sushi and sashimi combination, and it was the best. choose the 6 course meal and shushi combination, but go all out. We spent over 400 dollars with a party of four and it was worth it. The 6 course meal we ordered was the 100$ and the sushi/sashimi combination was 70$. If you love going to sushi restaurants this is the best, but i have to stress the importance of spending big. It's worth the money.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in PhiladelphiaView all restaurants in Philadelphia
