• The server went above and beyond in trying situation.
• Management needs better communication.

“On March 14th, my wife and I was visiting family who recommended the Log Inn. After being told about the 3/4 to hr wait we chose to wait. Once seated we gave our food order with the drink order. After waiting about 45-50 minutes for our food, my sister in law spoke with management about the wait. We were told a fryer was down and it would be at least 5 more minutes. After another 15 minutes we left. The management was unapologetic and had a bad attitude. We were never even offered an alternative meat so we wouldn't have to wait longer for our food. Thank you to the server who brought my nephews rolls to eat while we waited and had to endure the situation. We were not alone.”

• Family style fried chicken dinner.
• I can find nothing to say that would be negative about the Log Inn.

“This is my absolute favorite casual, fun, mid-western dining place with delicious home- fried chicken, slaw, peas, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, pies and cakes served family style; I jump at every chance to go there for dinner and am always extremely satisfied with everything about the dining experience! I love it!”

• The atmosphere, food and service.
• Not close enough to where I live.

“A very nice historical place to eat and visit. The food was very good, inexpensive with big servings especially the family style dinners. Service was by a staff with long service with the restaurant and very friendly. Very popular with the local population so there may be a short wait but well worth it. It is not on a major road, but easy to get to. Lots of parking space.”
