• You can't think of anything !

“We were told by some friends? That this was a really good steak house to eat at. Boy did they pull our legs, they must of meant it sarcastically ! The service was fair at the best. The salad bar was a 5/10 rating. The steaks were small tasteless, grisly. The bread was also pretty much tasteless ! The drink glasses were small and took forever to get a refill, after we had to ask for a refill. And were given a kind of strange look when we asked. If you want a real good steak. Don't go here !”

• Like a lot.
• Sometimes it gets crowded but only because it's such a popular place.

“We've stopped there every time we go to Florida and that's every year for ten years. Good food most of the time, good service, good bar, good value.”

• Buffet food is a cut above.
• Order a rare steak yesterday and it was overcooked. Didn't complain, just ate it.

“I've been making a trip or two each year between Oklahoma and Ohio and Effingham is always our mid point stop. We have been making this trip for about ten years. It doesn't take long to find out that Niemerg's is "the place" to eat. They provide a large and quick service coffee shop and an equally nice dinning room that features buffet service. The food is excellent, the price is right and the service is fast and friendly. It definitely is a cut above the typical chain restaurant and is better than most mom and pops. The only downside is that the restaurant is so popular, on a few occasions, you may have to wait a short while to be seated. I'd give Niemerg's a two thumbs up. I always look forward to stopping.”
