• A big salad bar - the spinach was fresh.
• Everything else - really. Employees in evidence, offering no service whatever.

“In our quest for hot cuisine, we wound up at the Bonanza steak house place here in metropolitan Mitchell, SoDak after having a look around the Corn Palace. I got to start hanging out with a better class of people. I ordered the rib eye, cooked medium. Rob ordered the senior's sirloin strip, medium well, thanks. His was cooked just the way I like it. The further I got into mine, the raw-err it got. And one side was cooked more than the other. The watermarks on the ceiling tiles made for interesting patterns on the ceiling. A few of the tiles looked like they might collapse momentarily. Meal detritus remained on the floor in spite of the vacuum cleaner being in plain sight. The staff finally figured out that daughter and family were with us and said they'd get right on their order. Ten minutes later, Gomer brought daughter's plate of deep-fried shrimps and fries (all you can eat) and said he'd be checking back with us to see when she'd like more. We never saw him again. Young woman (a teen) came around with her cart and her two gallon jug of catsup and filled the table bottles, after giving the open bottles a swipe with a grotey (sp?) looking wet cloth. Interestingly the salad bar wasn't SO bad. Didn't know we were getting all that when we ordered the entree -- each of us would have been quite content with the salad bar only (it was large and had more than cold salads on it, but that's a different story) and probably saved about $3 each besides.”
