“This was our first experience dining in downtown Newton, even though we have lived here for almost 1 year. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of entrees, and the wait staff who were very attentive w/o being annoying. The history of the hotel was interesting and made for good conversation. For an appetizer we tried the shrimp brochette and it was outstanding. We also both ordered different chicken dishes and were very pleased. Tempting as it would be to order the same dish again, there are many more that I would look forward to trying. It is a very comfortable environment and recommends it for families with well behaved children and also for a romantic dinner. I believe there may even have been a fireplace, but if there was it was not on the night we were there. The ambiance of the restaurant is very inviting. Bon appetite!” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in NewtonView all restaurants in Newton
