“Great Irish bar and immaculate dining rooms, wish there was some Irish music relay would have made the evening wonderful.”

“This place looks amazing as you come in, but it definitely needs some work. The food was great, but the service was poor. The only thing that was even worse than the servers were the managers! These people need to re-due their management team. There was one curly headed manager that spent more time talking and playing than she did working. It was absurd actually. Place has potential other than this.”

“Came across this restaurant while driving back home (west side of the state) from the coast. It's an odd location for such a place as it's about 30 minutes outside the city of Wilmington on an exit where there isn't much else. So, it was a surprise to find this huge, very nice place with a restaurant, bar, several meeting and banquet rooms and all. They had beautiful stained glass windows in some rooms, very cool 1920s style fringe lamps and drapes in another room, the bar was quite polish with stamped metal ceiling and lots of dark wood. The restaurant proper was comfy and low light with lots of ambiance. We were there around 2 pm, so the place was fairly empty. We gave ourselves a tour of the place. Everything was very clean and very well-kept. We ordered off their lunch menu. I got a pork dish with apples that was fabulous and my husband got a sandwich that he quite liked. Prices were very reasonable. Service was quite attentive. The waitress ignored us at the very end when we wanted to leave. But that was our only complaint. We will definitely go back when we visit the coast again.”

“We went in for lunch on our way to the beach. Worst dinning experience ever. Slow service, bad food, too much money, and managers didn't care.”

“We stumbled upon this restaurant while on a drive and since it was lunch time decided to give it a try. When we walked into the restaurant it was so upscale looking that we thought we might have to rob a bank to pay for the meal. My husband and I both had the She Crab Soup to start and it was one of the best crab soups we've ever had, chock full of crab meat. Meat loaf that my husband had was very good and my sliced London broil was excellent, though a little under cooked for the medium I ordered. But it was so tender and full of taste that I didn't mind. The food was delivered quickly and there was a lot of it. The waitress was a little hovering but then didn't show for a while when we were finished with the meal and ready for the check. We were very surprised at how low the total check was. Visited the rest room while there and found it spotless. We'll definitely be going back there.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“The pub area. Had a cocktail before dinner (outstanding pub) before being seated in the dinning room, visited the restroom, found a death roach in one of the two sink, no place to discard the paper hand towel. Seeing a 90 sanitation grade when enter the dining room had a negative reflex. Notice two areas on the table during dinner that had a crusty circle on the table. The server, the question is the glass haft empty or haft full. But why ask if you would like a refill on a haft full glass of water. The little thing we would lust assume but, the appetizer over cooked the bread deliver cold ( enjoy warm bread with dinner).” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in WallaceView all restaurants in Wallace
