“If you are looking for a decent bar/restaurant experience, I would steer clear of Blue Dog. I live in the area, just a few miles away, and over the years, this place has gone done hill. The bar itself is filthy! When you order a beer, drink, glass of wine, etc. you almost always get a dirty glass with lipstick on it! The food is awful, and is consistently way to salty, even for things that should not be like that, like soup. The food is not consistent either. One day, you get it and it will be great. So you come in a few days later, and order the same thing, and it looks and tastes like my 3 year old put it together. They are always changing their beer selection which is good, but are typically running out of liquor or wine. So if you enjoy a beer and a shot, hope you are just okay with only a beer. There is a liquor store next to the location, and they won't go out and just buy it. If anything, you speak to management or the owners about these issues, you, yourself get yelled at. When I take my family out, we want a good experience, great food and beer. This place strikes out on all levels!”

“Came with friends for dinner and beer. The beer and selection was excellent, but you can't call it edible food. Service was apologetic but did not make up for forgetting the appetizer, being slow, and forgetting some of the beer! The kitchen provided cold food that the waitress took back and personally microwave. Nothing says quality like microwaved French fries!”

“Great bartenders and beer selection. Appetizers and bar food type stuff is great. Service/food for real meals is just ok though. .”

“The food is middle of the road and the prices are too high. I would pay the prices if the food was worth it, but it was not. It is a great place to stop in and have a beer or other cocktail. They have great happy hour specials and a great Thursday night Martinis and Manicures. The bartenders that work there are interesting and entertaining. For the bar, worth the trip. For the food.! ” 4 of 5 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in ChalfontView all restaurants in Chalfont
