“Approaching it's 90th year in business, while remaining chiefly in the hands of the Tarsitano family, a well established clan in Atlantic city, Tony's Baltimore grill is the kind of institution that doesn't require good reviews to ensure it's continued success. With Tony's, what you see is what you get. Simple, but scrupulously prepared basic Italian American fare [the kitchen is immaculate!]. The kind of food, atmosphere and value that locals and Philadelphians can appreciate. There are some people that don't get a place like Tonys. And that's o.k. It's all about expectations. Tony's was the first restaurant that I ever went to; because of its affordability, one that my parents would actually consider. We always loved the pizza [absolutely historic; very likely the original a/c. Pizza], the generous antipasto, and the fried shrimp platter was always a treat. Being from an Italian family, my culinary tastes have expanded significantly over the years, and usually don't involve the choice of Italian for an evening out [mom's good cooking sets the standard in my family]. However, for a quick, fast treat or business lunch, Tonys is a great choice. For dinner, on summer evenings and year round during weekends will, you likely find a sizable line stretching onto Atlantic avenue. I guess a lot of people do get Tonys!”

“This restaurant had been recommended to us by a woman at the visitor's information center on the boardwalk. We waited approximately 45 minutes to get in, then dealt with freezing cold AC and a very loud, busy atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this place. The food was just OK.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Waitress was wonderful. Made suggestions to help our family - not just to make more tips. (When I asked if something would be big enough to share of if we should order more - she said "share") kids liked playing with the jukebox at the table. It was not a classy joint by any means. But you get what you pay for. And it was affordable. Food was simple, but decent. Didn't have salad dressings to choose from. Only vinegar and oil.” Popular Restraurants in Atlantic CityView all restaurants in Atlantic City
