• It was a great standby. We eat out a lot, less now.
• The restaurant went out of business!

“Sorry. This place has been closed for years, after the owner died. It was good when it was open, mainly for the homemade onion rings, best French toast, country bone in ham, cucumber onion salad and homemade apple sauce. It's sad to see an icon go the way of the dinosaurs. Go to the Freeway Cafe on Sheridan and 4th St and the cooks from East side were hired and they now make the secret recipe onion rings.”
