  • Fine for kids and families; decent house salad.
  • Horrible chicken pram; pizza was hard and tough.

“Overall unimpressed despite other's glowing reviews. Food was mediocre at best. Three of us went by tonight for the first time; my friend said it looked like a "Sharkeys" trying to be a bit more classy. The place is family friendly. Meaning it is loud and everybody gets to sit real close to each other in small booths or tables. The salads and some pasta entries can be served in incremental amounts to serve up to about eight people. Service was fine; tableware was dirty. As for the food, we tried their house salad, Supreme Pizza and a Chicken Parmasana. The house salad comes with a 'special' dressing that is basically a thick (really thick) Caesers dressing with garlic; we liked it. Lots of fresh Romaine, olives and some tomatoes. The pizza came covered with copious amounts of shredded pepperoni, sausage, olives and onions in a light tomato sauce. The crust was not too thin, not too full...but hard and tough. Good pizza crust is firm on the bottom and soft on the inside; we could tell this crust came from less-than-overwhelming dough. As for the chicken parm...skip it and save yourself some grief. Sliced chicken chunks (chunks!) served over rottelli pasta drowning in a red sauce covered in some kind of gooey mess. The chicken was dry -- my impression is it had been out for a while and likely doubles as a topping for the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Garlic bread was a decent hoagie roll with some butter and garlic on top. I've seen worse. But with the profusion of places small and large up and down 2nd Street I would definitely seek culinary solace elsewhere. These guys have been in business a long time, probably because they've been in a good location for a long time. But if you need to sit six kids and four adults down for some decent noodles and meatballs...you have found your place.”
