• Romantic.
• A bit pricey but worth it for a special night out.

• A lobster ravioli dish had a curry sauce, and that combination is something I¿ll try cooking myself (only better).
• Unclean, did not give a hoot about our likes/dislikes.

“We followed recommendations on the internet in choosing this restaurant, but ended up throwing $ down the drain. I wonder if they are under new management. The place is small, which is fine and should feel intimate, but all through our dinner we were subjected to the loud chatter of the chef and Jason, our waiter who was just around the corner. We got the 6 course taster. The bread with the meal was really poor - like a baguette from a grocery store warmed up. Only the first course and dessert were plated in any kind of attractive way. Other than that, sauces were sort of strewn on the plate, sometimes flung off the edge of the plate so you had to be careful you didn't get it on your clothes. The squab course was tough to the point of inedible. It didn't help that we were never given anything but a butter knife to cut with. My husband and I both said we couldn't eat it. Jason was kind enough to take it away, but there was no attempt to replace it with something we might like, nor was anything deducted from our bill! The filet mignon was the best course, with delicious truffle au jus sauce, but they didn't bother to ask how we wanted the beef cooked - we just got it really rare, so my husband ate most of mine. There was no salad. They didn't even offer us coffee during dessert, and we overheard Jason telling the next table that they were out of coffee due to a late night party the previous night! Like they couldn't have run to star bucks sometime that day. It was crazy. The bathrooms were pretty gross - sticky floors, and the kitchen looked really scary. If we'd seen the kitchen, we never would have sat down. This was our one night out while on vacation with little kids, so it really disappointed us. Please don't support these people. And did I mention that I got to sit across from a portrait of a naked lady with her legs spread wide? This might appeal to some, which is fine, but I found it unpleasantly lascivious.”

• There are only a few in the states. i am glad one of them is in boca.
• Watch your creditcard you may max it!!

“Back in LA they told me i have to go to johannes- this is the place in town.

what i found was one of the great restaurants in the country. you should have the tasting menu. you dont even have to read a menu, talk to a waiter or anyhing they just ask you if there is anything you dont like and that's it. the service was

what you expect at a great southern home- warm, knowledgable and completly

concerend about you. it's expensive and worth it (cant wait to goback)”
