• Eclectic side dishes. Steaks to order.
• Nothing.

“Excellent place for dinner! We always make it a point to eat at the star on every trip to or through Elko. Steaks are always cooked as ordered. Side dishes are more than enough for two. Service is always excellent! Can't wait to see you in September.”

• The taste of the food was amazing, the volume enormous, the price reasonable.
• It's to far from our home in Arizona.

“This was our first Basque restaurant and it was an incredible dining experience. This was the best food both in quantity and taste that we have ever had. ”

• Food.
• The wait.

“The Star is classic Basque food. Place is busy and usually a wait but worth the wait. Try a Pican cocktail at the bar. I had the lamb it was perfect. My friend had rib eye the best I have had. Even a friend's shrimp was good. All food is home made except for canned green beans. This is a place to visit again and again. ”

• Excellent food, 3x more than you can eat, served family style. Fun.
• 30 min wait, but that was a sign of how good it was.

“My brother recommended the Star for steak dinner. He was right on. Good food, good service, pleasant atmosphere, close to motels and casinos. Great way to cap off a fun trip to Nevada.”
