• Quality of food, service, incredible value.
• Ok, it's not in center city but worth the few dollar cab ride.

“What I want to know is what is wrong with the people of Philadelphia? Is it that they have so many good places to choose from? Perhaps. If this place was in DC, NYC or just about anywhere else you wouldn't be able to get in the door. Where do I start? Great oysters, cold beer and friendly, expert service. Oh did I mention it is so cheap you wonder how they do it. 8 bucks for a dozen fresh, cold oysters and 2 for a good beer? What an outstanding experience and a place I will never, ever, leave off my list of must visits when in the city. Many thanks to the owners for a truly outstanding place to enjoy an afternoon.”

• Atmosphere, Ken and Skip Snock, the staff, the crabcakes, oysters, bar specials, everything.
• Nothing.

“I'm a Baltimore, Maryland crab cake girl...but Snockey's has won me over. I'll be back to Philadelphia and Snockey's. After reading about Snockey's in PW, I thought I've got to give this place a try...and I'm glad I did. I love their traditional oyster house atmosphere. I enjoyed sitting at the bar, noshing on their oyster sampler, cajun shrimp and hard-shell crabs while watching the 1:00 football games. I even had a crab cake, delicious food at great prices. Ken and Skip, the owners, and their staff, are down to earth people, a rare find today. They've been around a long time and now I know why. Can't wait to get back to Snockeys.”
