• The bread is tasty and fresh, but it is hard to get more of it before the end of the meal.
• The attitudes of the receptionist/servers were the worst.

“Bay n surf has declined drastically in terms of food quality and service over the past several years. It used to be my favorite restaurant--not anymore. The last time my daughter went there, she got sick from the crab imperial she ate. We will not be going back.”

• Location is the appeal.
• Worst restaurant experience, food/service/bar were awful.

“The service is awful. Martini's were poorly made. Server & bar tender wouldn't consider remaking martini. Food was awfully greasy and the cod had an awfully fishy smell. The crab cakes were all breading despite the $17 price. Atmosphere was dingy, old and very poorly maintained. I would NOT advise anyone to eat here.”

• Nice fish tank.
• Over priced poor food and service.

“my wife and I went into bay n surf on Fri. July 14, 06 and it wasn't busy at all. we were seated right away. that was about the best thing that happen. we started out with the crab dip. this was the worst crab dip I have ever had. hardly any crab meat. for a price of $10.95. it wasn't worth the 95 cents. after the first glass of water it was like pulling teeth to get a refill on water or the ice tea that I had. I ordered the seafood Neptune and my wife ordered the single crab cake. when the food came out I could see right away there were two different crab cakes. I guess when you order the seafood platter you get a different crab cake. again hardly any crab meat. my crab cake reminded me of the crab cake McDonalds used to sell at the ocean. also they do not even have a selection of veggies. bay n surf is very very over priced. will not be coming here again. the big fish tank was nice however.”

• Food is Good.
• The room service quality was poor.

“The food was good; however, I ordered off the lunch menu and was charged from the dinner menu. Management would not compensate even though the waitress acknowledged that it was her mistake. The restaurant is not customer friendly.”

• Bad food+ bad service=avoid this one

“Food did not smell too good. Had to send it back. They still got it wrong and it was terrible. They reduced the check and we left and went somewhere else. Terrible experience. Bad service and bad food.”
