  • The view.
  • Bad food.

“Great view. Food is low quality and expensive. I had the Caesar salad with chicken and had 8 small thin strips of chicken on a bed or romaine lettuce with grocery store bottled dressing. Salad was worth about $4.00. The other two members of our party were dissatisfied with their seafood salad and calamari salad as well. Way overpriced for mediocre-bad food.”

  • Food & View.
  • Nothing.

“The view and the service was the BEST I ever had. I really Recommend the restaurant to all family's, it's also great for business groups. For a steak & seafood restaurant they had a great verity. The food was great!”

  • Nice view, but I could eat a sandwich in the grass and enjoy the same view and better food.
  • The food was inedible and made us sick.

“I have lived in San Diego for 7 years and have eaten at many great restaurants. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! My parents came to visit for the weekend and we headed to Seaport Village for the day and had lunch at what we thought would be a nice restaurant. My parents both ordered the fish and chips. The fish was Pollock, a lower grade than Cod or Haddock, and was mushy and undercooked. When we complained the restaurant still charged us full price for both meals and offered no sort of comp. The waiter even said that when the restaurant gets busy the food tends to be undercooked. Was that supposed to make us feel better? All it showed us is that the restaurant knows the food is terrible and doesn't care. After my experience I told a few friends about the food and they all said that when they had gone there the food was terrible as well. The view is great but next time I will save the $60 we spent on a horrible lunch and eat at one of the walk-up fast food places in Seaport Village. Anything is better than Harbor House. I will never recommend it to anyone. When we left I actually told someone walking in to the restaurant not to eat there and they turned around and went somewhere else. The health department should really go in an investigate this place.”
