• Great souhern home cooking.

“I have eaten here numerous times. I am a southerner and appreciate good fried chicken, fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The Smith House has all of these and it is great. This is not a place to eat if you are trying to lose weight because the food just keeps coming. It is up to you to use restraint, which is difficult. I live about 80 miles away. When I have guests from Canada or other distant places, this is a must. Dahlonega is a unique place which has much to offer and is educational.”

• The employees kept our bowls full and the place was clean.
• I honestly think the potatoes were canned.

“I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food, especially for the price. Some of the foods tasted commercially prepared- not home cooked. We will not eat here again. ”
