  • Loved the service and the view.
  • I 'm going to try something different on the menu.

“I found the Harbor Lights to be a delightful experience. It is a bit dated but that's what gives it such charm. The bartender and cocktail server were fantastic. The food wasn't that spectacular but the service made up for it. It was a full moon and the bartender turned down the lights and let us have a very romantic night. She said it's the best place to experience the full moon over the water. We agree and have decided to make it down again to have a little romance. The bartender made us feel right at home.”

  • We left.
  • We came.

“Took my wife there on a night out. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left we felt unwanted and unwelcome. Crammed into a corner by an indifferent hostess, the old relic of a waitress rolled her eyes and snapped at us, it was more like a Southern backwoods truck stop than waterfront dining, especially since all the food is deep-fried and greasy, the drinks are overpriced and watery. At least at a Hillbilly Truck stop you can find parking.”

  • Their Clam Chowder.
  • Parking is a little bit of a challenge on Friday evenings.

“It's like walking into a time capsule. My husband & I are youngish, but the Dean Martin atmosphere is so unique and the history is wonderful, especially compared with the typical chains (even within Anthony's chain). Their food was great. I've found it difficult to find Calamari Steak properly cooked, not over cooked. They had this nailed. I particularly love their Clam Chowder. It is not New England Clam Chowder with milk, it is not Manhattan Clam Chowder with tomatoe base; it is a reflection on our NW seafood heritage, a clam nector based Chowder & it's marvelous. Thank you Harbor Lights for not submitting to the generic, cookie cutter make everything & everyone the same. A little lower prices would make this a more frequent stop for us.”

  • Nice location.
  • Service was poor.

“The window seat for two was nice but crowded by other larger tables. The service was slow and food was not worthy of the $$. Limp lettuce salad drenched with dressing, I was given the incorrect meal and had to wait for a new meal to be prepared which was undercooked and served incorrectly with rice instead of the vegetables. My guest's dinner was left on the table and was cold when my meal finally arrived. It was not an enjoyable experience.”

  • Best and strongest drinks in town.
  • Only two stalls in the restrooms.

“I have been a fan of Harbor Lights since I was young when my parents took me. The prices are higher than other seafood restaurants, but it's because of the high-quality service and excellent food. It's hard to find a more homey, comfortable and established restaurant specializing in seafood in the south sound area. My favorites are any of the Halibut dishes or steaks. My parents love the Captain's Plate (a sampling of all major seafood's) and sautéed Dungeness Crab Legs. The seafood and meat are always fresh and very well prepared. Also, most of the employees have been there for years and know all us Harbor Lights patrons.”

  • Great value for your dollar.
  • Sometimes very crowded.

“I enjoy Harbor lights as the landmark waterfront restaurant that it is. You get huge portions of fried or grilled seafood and steaks, and the clams are easily the best around. It sometimes is very crowded and on occasion I get sat right next to another couple. It is very charming with the service friendly and efficient.”

  • Big portions with most any meal.
  • Sometimes get sat right next to other people very close.

“I find Harbor Lights to be a traditional waterfront restaurant true to the standards developed over many years. Huge portions of fried or grilled seafood and the best clams you'll find anywhere. I think the service is friendly and efficient. Sometimes it is a bit crowded, but I know I will always be given great care.”

Food:[3] • Service:[5] • Atmosphere:[4]

  • Nice view and nice seat.
  • Terrible food and inconsistent service.

“The food is all deep fat fried, except for maybe the steak. I dont know I went there for the seafood. The salad was just lettuce and was absolutely smothered in dressing. There were no seafood dishes that were not fried and I did not feel that you got what you paid for. An entree costs around $20 but you could get the same meal at Ivar's for considerably less. The drinks were not well mixed and the atmosphere was stuffy. Anyone under fifty looked sorely out of place.”
